is he any closer to forcing an answer from marquez as to whether the two of them will face each other. or who do u think michael will/should fight. i'd like to see him fight amir khan, or ricky hatton. i think he would find it much tougher against hatton, but it has the potential to be an action packed bout. i'd doubt it would go the distance though. but would hattons camp want to pit him against a guy with katsidis' workrate. especially after his two ko losses. katsidis may not be the most techically gifted boxer but his style makes for a fighter who is always value for money. shame there aren't many more.
Kat is a good fighter, and I like him... but he'll NEVER beat any elite fighter. Marquez would kill him. And Hatton would have to be on his death bed for Kat to beat him. He's better off facing the winner of Guzman-Funeka.
Katsidis has lots of potential, but he needs a trainer badly. He will never get anywhere without a trainer and even then it will be a tough road.
Marquyez will drop the belt or be stripped.Katsidis will become full champ. Katsidis-Barrios is likely.
I don't care who Katsidis fights as long as he fights as often as possible. There's no more entertaining a fighter on the planet. He gives it 100% every round, it's like watching Rocky everytime he fights. I say make him fight every week
I'd like to see Katsidis fight any of those guys. As long as he fights the most formidable opponents because I think with his style of fighting he won't have a long career because he absorbs a great deal of punishment in every bout. That said, I would like to see a Casamayor or Juan Diaz rematch before he considers fighting Marquez or Hatton. Mick would need to be on top of his game to have a chance against either man. The fight with Czar Amonsot was a war and if they fight a rematch you can expect fireworks again.
DeMarco is the interim WBC Champ so I think they will fight soon. Anthony Peterson is currently the #1 contender so hopefully we'll get some good fighters in with Valero before long. His next fight on Dec.19th is a bit of a joke for a title holder but unless he gets his US visa back and resolves that outstanding DUI issue in Nevada we could be holding our breaths.
Last time I talked to him he said he's trying to make the fight with DeMarco. I handle some of his web stuff for him.
