I just got back from a training camp and I read it on a mysterious website...

I am taking the fight as I write this up but can someone explain how the hell did Vic do to knock out one the best technician out there ?

    I am quite surprised here.

i agree......i couldn't even imagine him losing to someone like Darchyinian.....and certainly not in the fashion that he did lose

the person in that ring, was not Mijares....it had to of been someone else

he didn't jab, he didn't give any angles, i saw his footwork in only one round.....i dont know wtf happend, but that guy wasn't Mijares

I just watched the fight. Unbelievable. Mijares got punched to many times, specially with that left hand which caused him a lot of trouble.
He didn't found his way throughout the fight and got caught badly in the end...

I just can't believe what I have seen. Definitely not the Mijares I expected.
Like Monstar said, that wasn't the Mijares we used to watch. No footwork, no jabs, no slipping, no counters.. sure Vic has one awful style very difficult to figure out but damn I thought Mijares was the best fitted to do that !

Its ironic how Mijarez is the best boxer to fight Vic and he performed the worst.

mijares got too cocky...got caught in the first round...and from there he was broken mentally and eventually got flatened out...just like what darchinyan experienced at the hands of donaire...

Mijares looked like he'd never sparred with another southpaw before. He never saw the left hands coming. Unbelievable.

Probably one of the reason he already had couple of losses and draws in his resume before he fought Vic...
Well, I still think he is an incredible boxer (when he uses his brain).

I am quite sure I never seen that before either.

Anyway, he is still young and he still can make something great in the division if he learned his lesson.

I guess it should but I am getting really bad in prediction. I thought Vic would not come back this soon after the Donaire knock out and would get schooled by Mijares.
I even thought Jones could win the upcoming fight by the way... I shall reconsider my prediction.
