All boxing fans please say a wee prayer for Mike Towell today and hope he makes a full recovery following his fight last night
I watched the fight last night Billy, he just didnt pace himself properly and was trying to get Evans outta there. Seen he was very unsteady on his feet for a wee bit after the fight ended.... Did he have to go to hospital or that ??
things like this puts everything in to perspective all fighters must be shown respect simply through the courage they show regardless of ability thoughts are with mike and his family
I'm very sorry to hear the news about Mike Towell. We saw him on an undercard at Bellahouston a couple of years back and really took to his all action style, so we've been following him ever since. I hope the hospitalisation isn't as bad as the national media are suggesting and that he makes a full recovery.
Hope he pulls through allright. Was reading an article about him in the paper the day before. The absolute worst side of our sport. Thoughts and prayers out to mike and his family.
Got him and his loved ones in my thoughts. For all the nonsense that goes on in our sport, it's tragedies like this that make us really appreciate what the fighters put on the line every time they step in the ring. Willing that he pulls through.
I'm afraid Mike passed away.. Life is so cruel at times thoughts are with his whole family at this time
