Despite all of his losses coming before the final bell, I believe Tyson actually had a great chin. Watch his fights to see. The guy could take some absolutely hellacious shots and he could only be stopped after long periods of accumulated punishment.

He had a very good chin, for someone who was stopped/KO'd six times and never got up off the floor to win.

  6. you must be dreaming, tyson had a ok chin, not more.

The quality of Tyson's chin is not up for debate, its great. The question is how great is his chin.

I think you should start learning boxing, read up on fights and learn the fighters watch as many videos as you can on YouTube.

Either that or go to the General Forum where you can just blend in.

True. When Tyson lost,it was because he'd taken a gradual beatdown, rather than a single shot.

  9. i know more on boxing now than you will know during your pathetic life, you are the biggest tyson fanboy suck cocks on this forum.

remembers... tyson avoided old foreman because george would absolutely would kick his ass ;) bye baby

Old Foreman had the speed of a tortoise. He would have got speed blitzed by Mike. He had a great chin but we would be talking about a boatload of very hard, very fast punches, it would be messy.

Prime Foreman i favor over Mike, but old Foreman has no chance against prime Tyson.

Illiterate trolls like you and Foreman hook should stick to general.

You just hit the nail on the chin, literally :bowdown

Sure Tyson had a very, very good chin, but it is kinda "overrated" in my opinion because, among other reasons, he was pretty untouchable during his early career.

Comparing Tyson's chin to Smoking Joe is excessive. As stated, Tyson would have been killed in Manila, and for the life of me I can't imagine him being bombed 5-6 times in Kingston by a Prime ATG hitter like Big George and still be able to ask for more like Frazier did. I am persuaded that had the referee not stopped the fight, Joe would have fought Foreman to the death; no way Tyson would have been able to endure such punishment :!:

Don't bother with him.....He lacks the maturity to really take serious.

He resorts to name calling when someone disagrees with him.

I don't agree with everyone on everything but I respect people who respond with respect and with a reason.

Tyson had above average chin. If he didn't he would land in Kansas after Tucker's uppercut
