    Why the Hall of Fame should be renamed the Hall of the Average and Sentimental Picks.

    Weaver was nothing more than a b- fighter in an extremely weak era.

    Where is the obligatory "he would have ruled today's division" comment? Those comments are a rite of passage on this board.

    In all fairness, I think that's an over simplificaton of the truth where Mike Weaver is concerned. In any case, I do agree though that he probably shouldn't be there.

    pretty much why i consider him the 3rd best hvy of the 80s after tyson and holmes :thumbsup
