Kessler can't have turned down a fight with Dawson unless such a fight was actually offered. Do you have a cite for this fight being offered by Dawson's camp?
Turned down a Dawsonfight isn't correct - it's not like there was a concrete offer or anything like that. HBO has presented Palle/Kessler with a list of names of opponents that they would like to see Kessler against ... Dawsons name was on the list and Palle has said that that fight is interesting for Kessler and that they have other plans. As for the Miranda affair - I agree that it would have been a good fight - problem was that it was on showtime and Kessler is a HBO-fighter - more over I don't see Abraham who then took the fight) being offered big fights in the US for destroying Miranda in impressive maner... But I see Kessler being mentioned as opponent for Taylor, Hopkins and Dawson - for beating Sartison/Häussler and now holding the WBA-belt
