I`m tired of Miranda always make some kind of excuse, "i was weight-drained, i was sick.. if i put on more weight i be stronger, and blah blah! he should try to improve his defence and his skills, instead of believe his gonna knock this guy out.. KO power alone wont make him World-champion! Taylor is on another level, and would almost certainly stop him inside 6 rounds!
It would be a pointless fight for Taylor.Miranda looked awfuL against Abraham and i cant see him having any success against Taylor.To be honest my first reaction after the Abraham that was that Miranda should retire.He is a good fighter to watch but seems to take too many punches.
I'm repeating myself a lot on this subject, but here goes. Pavlik hit Miranda almost at will. How the hell would Edison have any chance of over coming Taylors speed?
The problem i have with Miranda is that you cant judge him, how good he is. He knocks out bums and mediocre opposition but fails badly against good champs. I would like to see him against someone like Bika or Andrade, to see where he really stands. Can he beat those solid fighters, or will he fail. Nobody knows. However, i dont think the fight will be made, Miranda will have to fight his way up without getting a good payday. Edison, look at the rankings and call out some of those names: Mundine, Inkin, Andrade, Pascal, Bika.. He is simply not in the position to call out the elite at 168.
You don't seem to know it but Bute already fought Bika. He had problems to solve Bika's style but after the third round it became easier. At the end, Bika was solved completely. The poor guy didn't know what to do. He tried headbutts, he tried to fake a low blow. Andrade is not like Bika. Andrade is a strange animal like Margarito. Bute would outbox Miranda very easily. KO before the 6th round. Interbox, Bute's promoter, is supposed to hold a press conference tomorrow to reveal Lucian's next opponent. Maybe it will unjam all the division.

It's crazy how with 6K posts you would say such a stupid thing. 1-Miranda doesn't have Andrade's chin. And Bute put Andrade on the canvas. 2-Miranda doesn't have Andrade's stamina and Andrade is the ONLY ONE to have gassed Bute. 3-Miranda Swings REALLY wide. Bute is VERY quick. Do the math. I know that people around here wanted Andrade to win so bad that they are going to see the Bute KD as proof he won but please, rewatch the bout. Andrade won TWO rounds in that bout. 5 and 12. You think Miranda would do better? What I would like to see is Miranda vs Andrade. That would be an epic fight.
