yes i was relating to the front page. I say Frank should let mitchell have a go. The worst that can happen is he loses. The rewards are much better, Nobody is giving him much chance anyway.

He can't just hang around and never have a go at a world title. I have followed Mitchell from day one and liked him. His fight with Johannson was a ******* but he hasn't stepped up in the right way.

he has stayed at domestic level for far to long as a prospect. He should have beaten a few top 10 fighters by now but its a bit late for that. He needs to get in there and give it a go.

I would be cheering for Mitchell. I haven't seen much of Rios but i don't believe he is unbeatable.

You all know I'm mitchell's biggest fan on here. But no, please no. Rios would absolutely destroy him. There is pretty much 0 chance he can win IMO. Dont do it Frank! I've said it before, Rios, JMM, Soto and The Ghost are all moving up in weight soon. If frank waits, Kev could bang himself a world title.

I think that’s a little sad. I’d rather see him fight and lose against the best than win a weak title in a weak division. It’s my major gripe with Ricky Burns’ reign, even though I like the guy.

But the truth is Mitchell has no chance. If Murray can give him absolute hell then Rios will ruin him. It’ll be even worse than the Katsidis fight.

While I see what you mean. I still think there is improvment to be made from Kevin. He has only had 3 real fights with Tibbs.....and 3 fights at Lightweight.

Pick up the vacant WBO title. Build his name back up in London to a point where he can fill an arena again. Fight Romanov (WBO no1 undefeated), Burns, Murray rematch and then maybe a former champ thats past his prime. then take on the best in the division.

That’s possible, but I’d not like to see him with a belt facing that level of opposition. Plus it comes back to the same issue – if all the best guys are gone by then, then beating the “best” in the division might not be a big boast.

That's the key thing for me, Murray aint a puncher and took him deep.

I picked Kev to beat Murray, but Rios is all wrong.

    Don't see it happening anyway.

Mitchell-Murray was exactly the same as the Katsidis fight, except Murray can't punch and isn't Elite.

Rios arguably has bigger one shot power than Katsidis. Whilst not as refined a pressure fighter, he's also massive at the weight and right in his prime. The kinda' beast I'd advise Kev' to stay away from!

Theres always a chance for Mitchell with his left hand, I`m a fan of Mitchells and i say that he goes for it, at least he would have tried and for that itself he`ll get respect. So many times others are written off before they try and also ridiculed for trying, yet some have proved their point. Rios is odds on favourite, but to write Mitchell off is unfair.

Mitchell has to double the jab and sting Rios with combo`s and not pull back but rather turn rios and pivot more and try to keep off the ropes but if he does end up on the ropes he has to hold rather than engage.

JMM is the only fighter currently at 135 lbs that I'd happily pick to beat Rios - so I can't see Mitchell standing a chance.
