Mitchell vs Katsidis

After Mitchells last two fights this has to be made. Mitchell is ready to sink or swim.

Mendoza isn't very special but Mitchell put on the right performance.

Mitchell vs Katsidis. I think Mitchll could do it if he gets his tactics right.

I think Escobedo would be a good fight for Mitchell, Is Katsidis full WBO champ or interim holder ?

 

Katsidis went life and death with Amonsot who was/is pretty much unknown. I'm a big fan of Katsidis but if Mitchell boxes smart and doesn't get drawn into a brawl he can win this. Would still make Kats the favourite though.

 

I think JMM is going up to 140 so I just may be for the full monty

 

Interim and avoided! JMM is still the full holder but will have to vacate if katsidis is not his next opponent.

Escobedo would make sense, if mitchell does a job on him (which katsidis didnt) that would set up a mitchell-katsidis fight in the autumn. If mitchell keeps his head with a similar style that he showed against prescott he outpoints katsidis, maybe late stoppage. If he reverts back to the mitchell in the johanssen fight he cant 'out-war' katsidis

Katsidis won most rounds....118-110

 

Of course i have otherwise i wouldnt have commented atsch Cut above 1 eye, below on the other and was an even fight half way so the 118-110 score u and 1 of the judges had is 2 wide (altohugh not as crazy as giving escobedo the fight!). Katsidis wore him down and his work rate is admirable. He won the fight but was countered frequently and to say he dominated without breakin escobedo's spirit, knockin him down and lookin like he did at the final bell is flattering. Mitchell outboxes him for me

 

i wonder how long katsidis will box with that style and the punishment he puts himself through in most of his fights.

whether the fight happens is probably down to who jmm decides to fight next.

 

Think Kat will burst him, although since the Mitchells think they are the new Krays you never know

 

I thought Katsidis won the fight against Escobedo pretty conviceingly like, thing is with Katsidis he is easy to hit, but he is very accurate himself, still say he has to much for Mitchell, Katsidis fighti Juan Diaz next anyways, Just read there that Katsidis had a fight with Amir Khan lined up everybody agreed the fight apart from Khan.
