How do people see this one playing out?

I'm betting on a Linares win tomorrow night, I just can't forget how much Mitchell struggled against Maduma at Wembley, it was the speed that gave him problems and he wasn't willing to engage much early on (probably as not wanting to risk being hurt by taking risks).

I don't think Mitchell particularly enjoys it when the going get's tough, also with two KO defeats to Katsidis and Burns in the mix on big event occasions. I'd love him to do it as a Brit, but I just think the price on Linares for betting is too big value not too take, given his class and better opposition he has faced.

Also, the cut Mitchell has sustained on the bridge of his nose not too long from fight night doesn't bode well also.

What's people's views on this fight?

Mitchell should win this on points aslong as he sticks to a plan and doesn't walk on to anything.

It'll be a close fight though.

Linares KO, could go the other way as someone is getting stopped (both fragile) but Linares has more quality.

This is the best fight of the night, action and drama guaranteed.

I think the two Brits are the better technicians with the superior footwork. If they can both box to script then they should both have points victories.
For me though, Sugar Selby has the tougher task due to his good but at this level, limited punch power. Mitchell will take this one for me, he was sharp as a tack in his last fight, looked fu¢kin dangerous....:!:

I am now edging towards Mitchell after todays events and the fact that Linares cuts so easily cannot be ignored, Selby I think will put on a masterclass and box his way to a wide points win.

I'm not so confident about 'The Welsh Mayeather' as you but he's one of my favourite fighters and I hope his skills and swag can win the day.
Linares really did look drawn and drained at the weigh-in, I think Mitchell takes him into deep water and stops him perhaps in the later rounds....

An amazing Linares fact, he has NEVER completed a 12 round bout. He has either been stopped or scored a stoppage in every bout that has been scheduled for the championship distance.

Wasn't linares stopped by smaller men?

I think Linares is on a completely different level to Mitchell in terms of movement, speed, punch variation. He could make this look really easy if Mitchell doesn't land something big.

Mitchell has only looked good against predictable plodders like Estrada and Prescott. Linares will present a completely different challenge; someone who can play him at his own game and a whole lot more.

When both fighters have lost its always been a stoppage.. Fight to not go the distance is 8/11.. But that in your acca's

Was watching some linares last night he looks like he is carrying some serious ammo I'm leaning towards a linares ko win.
