Eddie Hearn has opened talks with IBF champion Miguel Vazquez about facing Kevin Mitchell on the Carl Froch-George Groves undercard.
Also Stuart Hall vs Jamie McDonnell

    Realistic??

If thats the case I hope Mitchell has a decent opponent this weeked no daft 8 rounder as that is no preperation for a world title fight

Either way i do not see Mitchell beating Vasquez, glad Hearn is doing his job though and actively seeking 'big' fights for the undercard.

If Hall v McDonald gets made thats another good fight, hope the rest arent one sided 'parades'

Says he has offered Hall 'huge' money so hopefully there is some truth in it and it makes it onto the undercard.
Correct re the 'parades'. The more quality fights the better for a show I this size

Hearn always makes out the undercard is going to be good but as the night gets closer more often than not the undercard turns to ****.

Great for trying to get another world title fight on the card.....but probably the worse fight entertainment wise you can get and a guaranteed loss for Mitchell. The crowd will be asleep by the time it's finished.

The Rickster would have to earn his shot!

I don't think Mitchell is beating Vasquez anyway.

Has mitchell earned this?! Good for him though, but think there would be others more deserving of a fight with vasquez.

Nobody in the uk except burns himself, I'm just thinking more along the lines of guys like beltran and other lightweights around the world rankings. Suprised hearn feels Mitchell is ready for another world title shot. I'm pleased for him mind you.
