The Klitschkos should be allowed to use that spinning back hand in boxing to spice up their fights.

 Dont think so mate, put Mayweather in against GSP and I guarantee you Floyd gets his ass kicked 10 times out of 10.

Yeah , while he was on his back, Mayweather would get man raped once he gets taken down, and he WOULD get taken down straight away.

standing toe to toe doubt it, in a MMA fight of course GSP wins, he would use his wrestling and jujitsu becuase on their feet is the only way Mayweather could win. In a boxing Match Mayweather would toy with GSP who looks stiff like most the other MMA fighters. No upper body movement, slipping technigues or parrying.

Yeah and GSP would likely get put on his back by laser sharp right hand lead, that he never saw coming.

And mayweather would get taken down because we all no mayweather is so slow on his feet and doesn't have the reflexes to move out the way if someone shoots on him.

Vitali would last about as long as Toney.

Heres Ray Mercers fight with Tim Sylvia, which shows that a boxer has a slight chance in mma if they can land a big punch. But i do mean slight,a boxer would be beaten in the cage 99 times out of a 100 usually

Yeah your right, Mayweather would ko him in a round I would think, no argument from me there, but in an mma fight Mayweather would get taken down immediately cause his stand up is too dangerous, and once down there he would last a few minutes at best. But it aint never gonna happen. At the end of the day if any world class boxer lands a strike on ANY mma fighter it would be over early

I'm glad the ref got in there right away. Mercer probably would've just kept pounding on Sylvia's face until it turned to mushy pulp.

I could just as easily say that in an MMA, fight, GSP would get punched and KOed immediately because he's just too dangerous on the ground. The fight does start standing after all.

I would bet any money that GSP would take him down easy, evading a punch aint like evading a take down mate, you should try it for yourself and see. At the end of the day they are 2 different sports

To some extent your right mate. But quick feet can get you out of the way of both, and the punches that Mayweather react to in boxing, come much faster than any shoot he would see in MMA. On the other hand, who has ever thrown strikes anywhere near, the level that Mayweather would against GSP?

Oh, and I have avoided a takedown before. I actually sprawled insticntively, even though it was something that I had never practiced before.

This is the stupidest ball-gurgling rubbish I've ever read. Does every boxer who fights in MMA have lasers on their fists or something? Do you REALLY think Mayweather lands one punch, GSP falls down and it's over? I know he has gloves on, but for **** sake, you paint the picture as if MMA fighters have no power whatsoever with the gloves they're using and have gotten used to. For one, Mayweather would not have the ABILITY to stuff a takedown or do anything about what GSP wanted to do to him. He wouldn't be able to check leg kicks, he wouldn't be able to stop takedowns, wouldn't know what to do in the clinch, and regardless of what people may think, he wouldn't know how to DEFEND. Try using the Philly Shell with MMA gloves, you'll leave the cage with two black eyes and a bruised ego.

And who has thrown a punch somewhat near Mayweather's level? BJ Penn, for a start. Sure, he doesn't have the boxing technique down as well as Mayweather has, but he has the power and speed to match Mayweather, or near enough.

I was there live and Toney look awful the same way hes been looking in boxing for the past few years. The guy doesn't take anything serious anymore and the funny thing show up at his highest weight ever and Dana White with his crazy marketing saying this guy is trying like never before:patsch You always have to show respect and train hard and Toney lacks both, but I will always say this... Any boxer with great footwork will easily win any MMA match.
