All guys rumored to give Floyd problems in sparring. What do these guys even have in common stylistically that would've been trouble.
What they have in common is the fact that it was sparring. (I actually believe Morales would have given Mayweather a number of problems in an actual bout, more so than Barrera, or Marquez ever could).
Mayweather likes to laid on the ropes in sparring and firing whenever he feels like it. Looks like they have success but i wouldn't hold too much value in it. However I know Peterson and FLoyd got heated in sparring.
According to Floyd fans, he's goes hard and all out in sparring so it could give clues to what would happen in an actual fight.
Mayweather goes all out in sparring? Very highly doubtful. Sparring is sparring, no matter what certain fans say. Anyone routinely in a boxing gym environment knows this.
Yeah, rumour is he would use the feint to negate Floyd's defence and clock him in the face to the point Floyd got pissed off and left
Steve O'Meara, a British light middleweight, was interviewed on Bunce's show in the UK last week, and he said when he was at Mayweather's gym he saw Floyd knock two sparring partners out and just got them pulled out of the ring without saying anything to them.
Eh that's why it's sparring, bigger gloves headgear... those lead hooks and counter rights don't command as much respect when you have a pillow on your fist
