From 1am on, it was great.

Before that, the blue screen was ****.

I cant see the station working out to be honest. It was a good shot but they will only have maybe 2 fights a year. The public might buy into Froch because he is English but I cant see them buying into the Kessler fight without a top English card and the numbers will fall next time out. Hennessy dont have the fighters who would be PPV standard to help sell the Kessler fight to the casual fight fans who watch it because a British fighter is fighting.

I thought Andy Kerr did a good job with all his features and interviews.

I thought it was great for a first show. Plenty of different highlights to help pass the time.

I find it strange that people have been petitioning and complaining that not enough boxing is shown. But when someone is good enough to do something about people still find room to moan.

Excellent presentation. I even made a mental note last night to point it out but this thread has done the job. No adverts and professional and slick and of course Buncey & Kerr.

damn good presentation imo

And I am naturally against all PPVs esp UK, due to the garbage sky has put out time and again

11. Just incase you guys are interested, bunce and jim rosenthal didnt get on that night, once froch fight was aired, jim rosenthal left bunce standing on his own watching the fight, he looked awkard around bunce who kept interrupting. IMO wee barry is much better than bunce. Jim and barry also have repor about them together also. Get rid of thaxton and put woodhall there!

12. i hope primetime becomes a boxing/niche sport channel

i wouldn't mind subscribing and paying about a tenner a month

if we got the top rank cards and fights from germany etc

plus the odd PPV for mega fights

i don't know if they would make ends meat?
I was suprised by the presentation of primetime. Apart from a few technical gaffes I thought it was good. Even got a shout out from Buncey.

I know it'll depend on how many buys they got but do you think we'll see more primetime? The fight was no thriller, some casual fans drawn in for the fight may be put off paying again. Something Bunce said about "all being over now" didn't fill me with confidence. He was probally just talking about the night as a whole, hopefully.
Is this an ITV associated venture? If it works does it mean we'll see fewer bills on ITV with the smaller fights moving to the undercards of big shows?
