No need for the fight. Mormeck looked like a man who had one foot out the foor prior to the Haye fight. Not sure where the fire In Jean Marc was rekindled. The Bell fights took the battle out of him and Haye cracked him good.

A win over Flores is good for Adamek. He could then fight Cunningham again or unify with one of the other champs. Frag would be an easy scalp and I'm sure that the well-traveled Jones wouldn't sneeze at the opportunity to finally legitimize himself. If Adamek can hold onto the belt long enough there'll be a big fight down the road with a certain Russian cruiserweight.

Haye is a good, exciting fighter, but anyone and their mother who doesn't have a Union Jack shoved way up their arse could see him land bad rabbit punches to the back of Mormeck's head, just prior to the KO.

Speaking of which, I haven't seen Arran around lately.:hi:

I said this at the time of the fight too; if you don't believe me, feel free to find the old Mormeck-Haye thread in the Euro forum. I wasn't the only one mentioning the rabbit punches.

It would be better if Adamek made Flores and Cunningham face off (they are 1 and 2 in the IBF rankings). Flores has said he is up for it in a recent interview.

As much as I like Mormeck, he will get beat badly in this fight. He looked old in his recent fights and he has been KO'd in 2 of his last 4 fights. On top of that, he has stamina problems and would only make a fight of it for about 3 or 4 rounds. I see him being KO'd late.

mormeck looked bad in both bell fights imo. he got some home cooking in the second fight. his stamina is downright terrible and reminds me of shannon briggs in that repsect. but he is a tough guy who is not to be taken lightly. i think it stays competitive the first 1/2 of the fight but then adamek's pressure combined with Mormeck's stamina leads to a late stoppage vicory for the the polish champ

Adamack would stop Mormack, he is past it and Adamacks combos would crucify him.

It wasnt home cooking... it was something called Open scoring...

Mormeck is a strong guy.... I think this fight goes the distance... Adamek/Briggs at a higher weight..
