With Rocky Balboa being played constantly, it has me thinking about who would win this fight. To be perfectly honest, this could potentially be a mainstream bonanza for both these fighters and do huge numbers (at least in comparison to what any other fights for these two would ever do now). So who would win. It is actually not a bad fight for both these fighters. Morrison is obviously bigger and stronger, but Tarver (like Mason the line Dixon) is much quicker and better conditioned. Tarver is obviously less shot than Morrisson, but with Morrison not yet facing world Class opposition in his comeback and being (you would expect) totally shot at this stage of his career, it would be a very big leveller. If making a pick at the moment, i think Tarver would win. Might also be a little interesting to see Stallone v Weathers and Lundgren vs T in exhibitions, even if the fights all did nothing more than answer a few unanswered questions for some of the Rocky fans.
This is kind of a pointless argument because there's about a 99% chance that Morrison has HIV. On the 'Rocky' note - I always though Carl Weathers looked damn impressive as Apollo Creed. He sure looked and acted like a boxer, at least.
If I remember correctly, he's having a hell of a time getting a license in the United States. He's fought recently, you're right, but it was either abroad or at one of the handful of states that have given him a license. I don't remember which.
