I belive Mayorga's last fight was against Vargas?
To be honest he was getting beatup in the fight
And prob would have lost had he not scored multiple KD's of "El Feroz".
IMO, he wasn't to impressive... but as you said he was "Mayorga"

I think this fight is supposed to be a high profile tune-up for both Mayorga/Mosley..
could turn out to be a disaster, With RM no one ever really know's.
(He is always the Underdog, And every Dog has his day, ask Vernon)

 

Mayorga wanted Mosley as a step up fight to get a date with Cotto.

Mosley wins this one by KO, easily.

What do you think of this young Mayweather guy? He only won a Bronze at the olympics, but I think he's gonna be pretty good.

 

Shouldn't Mosely be looking for significant fights only?? It still kills me that he didn't reschedule with Zab. That would have been a great fight.

In all honesty this fight was defo made with PPV in mind...
(With Mayorga and his pre-fight antic's getting the majority of the buy's)

But HBO and GBP prob realised they they are tying to shove to many PPV's inour plate at once back to back...

glad HBO will get this one, I'm not expecting it to be a great fight.
But when you have Mayorga vs. anyone it's always a good show.
(I wonder how Ricardo will diss Mosley...?)

 

Let's try and keep an open mind about it though. After all, Mayorga beat the **** out of Vernon Forrest-the same cat that beat the **** out of our great Sugar Shane. Maybe this will rock, Dude?

 

Shame cause a Cotto fight would be fun while it lasts.
