Did you even read the article ? "Boxer “Sugar” Shane Mosley testified in 2003 that he injected himself with the notorious doping agent EPO" "Mosley has admitted publicly and under oath that he used steroids and EPO, but has denied knowing that the drugs were banned or illegal.....in the testimony, recorded on Dec. 11, 2003" This ISNT a new admission he admitted it ages ago. He says he didnt know they were illegal or banned substances which he took a lie dectector test for in court and other oath and passed. Terrible misleading post.
someone told me mosley takes dugs a long tym ago. Well look at his phsique and how much he benches, it aint suprising. buh i dont wanna discredit his wins, that guy had the skill and talent to win either way.
i think he admitted he took dope before the 2nd fight. Nothing about the first. It tarnishes his legacy for sure.
Interesting quote from Conte; Mosley asked me about the positive effects of using EPO and how he would benefit from using it as a boxer, Conte said. He certainly knew that it was EPO and there are three witnesses that were there that day when he was told about it and did his first EPO injection in front of us. I also told him that the clear and the cream were undetectable steroids that would not create a positive test. Shane Mosley has been lying publicly about his use of performance enhancing drugs and there is plenty of evidence to prove that fact. It is despicable that he continues to abuse the judicial system for his own financial gain by telling lies. Everyone has been calling Conte a liar througout this whole ordeal and have been acting like Mosley is some innocent victim. Mosley is a liar and a cheater. It's only a matter of time before he's forced to stop with this silly charade.
Not I. I always said Mosley cheated. I laughed at all the Mosley nuthuggers who said "no, he wouldn't cheat, he's such a humble guy with such a nice smile!" :rofl
Was it a banned substance when he took it? If so, ignorance is no excuse. The fight should be over turned and he should be open to legal action by DelaHoya if DelaHoya so desired. In order to keep your boxing liscence, you should be subject to drug screening multiple times every year, and not just during a fight.
Id say that would have more to do with what Forrest did to him. Totally blew away his confidence those fights.
