it's a catch 22 with some of these posters. just a month ago they were saying that floyd is scared to fight a real welterweight and would never fight mosley. now they claim floyd was forced by golden boy to fight shane and had no other option. after floyd owns mosley on may 1st, they'll say shane was old and floyds resume is a joke. give the man some props, don't start with the excuses 2 months before the fight.
yeah he is fighting the best (known) welter available but the dude is still closing in on 40 and on the slide. And yeah I've been saying that from the very start. Both pac and Mayweather should be ashamed of themselves for letting this fight slip by , for making unproven drug claims and for not taking the the ****ing test anyway. Nonsense. If I'm against Americans, why would I want Mosley to win? You can just argue that. Mosley has about as much of a chance as Marquez did. Everyone will see and be like "damn, how did I ever think Shane had a chance?" Fighting the over 35 crowd is Mayweather's plan.
Shane beating Mayweather could be very bad for the sport in terms of it growing and acquiring a bigger fan base. Can you imagine a press conference between Mosley and Pacquiao? It would be an amazing fight to watch, but I hope their personalities don't effect how big the fight should be if Shane wins. But Shane definitely looked nervous on the big stage, however I don't think it'll effect his in ring performance.
I have been saying this all along, because these clowns have been doing it for years. Starting all the way back in the fight with Chico. Before he signs to fight them he is scared, he will never take on a REAL fighter that has a shot at beating him. Then once the fight is signed all the ****ing excuses are rolled out. What you have is a bunch of Floyd Haters that really know how good he is and are simple looking for ways to discredit him and his fights.
