Yeah Terry Norris was but I have alot of old tapes from 90-93 of Jackson the man mostly came right at his oppenents looking to unleash that lethal right of his. Most of the fights I seen of his he was very aggressive and always gave the fans what they were looking for, usually a devastating 1st round ko.

Jake LaMotta is the most purely aggressive boxer i've seen. I saw him take a sort of side step in his last outing against Sugar but I don't know about a backwards step, ever.

Though you have a good list overall i'd have to disagree with Tiger. He wasn't nearly aggressive ENOUGH in my view, his fatal flaw. He was always coming forward, true, but often outthought himself, or tried to overset - thirty-forty years later i'm screaming at the tv for him to throw punches at certain times. He didn't punche enough, he needed to take a page out of the Marciano/LaMotta book and hit arms more.

yes he was aggresive every boxer has to be it's part of the game, but he wasnt the most aggresive.he was by no means an aggresive person he was there to ko guys but he didnt throw alot of punches he just timed the punches to knock the other guy out while backing them up.

look at floyd patterson he throws loads of punches hits hard and tries for the knock out but he is not an aggresive fighter.

i just read what i wrote and it might not make sense but...pah :patsch

Adrian Diaconu could be this guy if he comes out and steamrolls Dawson.

In recent historical times, Benn and Jackson top my list.
