I don`t think Sturm wwas that bad, I feel DLH`s best performance was v Chavez and that was his best weight.

I don`t think Haye had proven himself at cruiser by that point and was exposed, he really wasn`t that good anyway and was stupid so punched himself out.

Haye was even more embarrassing v Wlad, he just didn`t know how to get inside on the taller more skilled Wlad, he got completely exposed.

Haye was stopped at cruiser by Carl Thompson who couldn`t even stop Eubank Sr at cruiser even though Eubank started his career at middleweight.

What Haye should have done was attempt to stand his ground and take the centre of the ring but instead he allowed himself to be forced back. He would have got hit more and may well have been stopped had he held his ground but he also would have been able to get power on his punches and would have had a legit chance of winning.

Yeah his "draw" with Martinez is equally embarrassing.

So it wasn't because he had a bad toe?

I get your point but if you watch the fight back you'll see from the opening bell that Haye's only response to Klitschko's jab was to back off, no attempt to stand his ground and block/parry the jab with a high guard or stay low with his head, force Wlad to punch down and target the body. Wlad did not have a good chin but Haye negated his chance to exploit that by fighting off the back foot at long range therefore not being able to get any real power on his punches. Easy I know to watch from hindsight at home.
