Who had the most impressive undefeated run in boxing history? And who ended it?

You could probably say Tyson because he looked unbeatable and had become the undisputed world heavyweight champion.

Larry Holmes & Michael Spinks spring to mind. Spinks ended Holmes' run whose own run was ended in devastating fashion by Tyson.

Some very good choices, though of course nobody wants to mention Marciano's 49-0.

    Sugar Ray Robinsson: 91 fights
And whats even more impressive, sometimes he fought twice or thrice a month ! He rematched La Motta 3 weeks after he lost a war and had a stay busy fight between, lol :)
Imagine this: Cotto - Margarito rematch -> today !

Have to say Marciano and Finito Lopez. Chavez has to many Taxi drivers in his record. He also beat the good ones. But just too many Taxi drivers

So? He has a lot of great names on that list. WTF is he supposed to do? Fight champions when he barely started his fighting career? :-(

    Cesar Chavez's was pretty unbelievable.

Undefeated for 14 years or so, I believe.

Trinidad was pretty good 40-0. He took a long list of stiff opposition.
