For me, of the current guys, Arthur Abraham. Besides balls of steel in the ring, he's got this offbeat sense of humor. It's like he's always in on his own inside joke. I find Cotto to be likable. Straight forward, pretty stoic until he finally loses his temper and body slams you. Librado Andrade. What a classy guy. Wladimir Kltschko outside the ring. I don't get entertained much watching his in the ring style but I think he's a very likable personality and I've heard people who have met him compliment his affability. He has a good sense of humor too. I remember Wlad on Conan O'Brien being asked about fighters abstaining from sex during training. He tells Conan it's not so bad during the week when he's burning energy in training but ''on weekends, it's hard because I always wake up in tents."

Dont think he was overrated at all if anything underrated atleast at Bantam and Jf.. he couldnt mess with any of the elite guys at feather. I do think his wins over Tapia were questionable 1st one he might have edged it , but the 2nd one Johnny won hands down.

I have to go with Cotto and Shane Mosely (though I havnt met them, they seem really likeable and friendly).

In SA it seems all our boxing stars are a-holes ... eg: Phillip Ndou, ***** of note!
Although I have to say Isaac Hlatswayo and Cassius Baloyi are very approachable. I tried speakin to Silence Mabuza when I was younger but I froze up, all he did was laugh and shake my hand lol (I think thats where he gets his name from lol)

I'll vote for Max Schmeling. He helped to pay the impoverished Louis' medical bills and served as a pallbearer at Louis's funeral for which he helped pay.

    Totally !

the post fight interview after pac was hilarious , even tho he had just taken a beating and was admitting to having gotten skelped he still managed to come across as the coolest guy in the building.

that is very hard to pull off when everyone just saw you get tore up.

" I thought Freddie was in there hitting me too ! " too ****in fuinny
