I totally agree with those sentiments.

Lewis would **** any version of Tyson up.

 

its kinda cliche to say tyson had trouble with tall fighters...when in fact 90% of the guys he fought were 6-3, 6-4 and - 6-5
he didnt KO the 6 foot 4 bonecrusher...be he won every round.... tucker put up a good fight...but still didnt win maybe 3 rounds at best.... KO'd alot of tall rangy guys....
it will always be debated whether Lewis would have beaten tyson prime for prime....but they way i look at it is....lewis was in his prime when he was KNOCKED out by single punches 2 times..... if rahman and mccall can land those....then no doubt tyson would have too...at some point....

I seriously dont see how Lennox lost the way he did to Rahman & McCall given that he took Vitali best shots and didnt go down...I guess its safe to say which ever Lennox would show up against Tyson might give a better idea...I do agree that if Lennox doesnt takes Tyson's shots well he's going to sleep but if Lennox can some how absorb Tyson's blows like he took Vitali (who is a banger and can punch) he will take Tyson out or cruise to a UD.

Paul Williams,Miguel Cotto, or even the plaster king Margarito take Hatton easy at 147.Hatton doesn't even want anything to do with any of them anyway.He's talking Marquez next as he believes if he beats Pac he'd be the best fighter in the world,haha.Hell,Luis Collazo who lacks power and makes up for it in volume had Hatton holding on for dear life by the end of that one.

 

I thought Oscar looked sluggish and robotic against Forbes.Very unimpressive.

 

On the matter of Lennox vs Tyson prime for prime, I think Lewis would have actualy won. He was 6,6 so he had the range to keep Tyson away, and he had a great jab even if it was weak, the point was he utilised it to perfection. I know that Tyson has beat big, tall fighters before but none of them were as class as Lewis was and none had as much of a well utilised jab. And although Lennox got knocked out twice by single punches both were caused by lack of concentration/over confidence which he definately wouldn't have let happen against Tyson.

 

Although if Pavlik had beaten him, he would have been instantly named the successor to Roy Jones by the Amercians. atsch

Hatton was out of shape for the Collazo fight in any case.... he was part holding on, part trying to KO the guy - watch the fight.

 

Calzaghe Hopkins, and RJJ. Hopkins performed poorly against Calzaghe, yet Calzaghe got hit with nearly every convincing punch he threw and against RJJ, RJJ forgot it was a boxig fight and didn't through no punches. Both over rated, also agree with the Tyson Lewis one!

 

Marquez over juan diaz.. Marquez was the favorite coming into the fight and when he won all of a sudden he should be # 1 Pound for Poundatsch:rofl:rofl

 

Overconfident or not lewis would have been tagged by tyson if they fought during their prime. Tyson was a beast back then and he didn't care if you were bigger than him. Tyson would have landed some of those wild hooks and knock lewis out cold:good
