Jumbo Cummings wasn't 300 pounds. He was about 215. He had incredible back and leg muscles though. And his musculature looked hard and powerful. I have no doubt he was immensely strong.
Eh... He's up there, but there are men that are physically powerful that outweight him by 30-40 pounds. Can't really compete with that.

The strongest man to ever box professionally was Paul Anderson, who some regard as the strongest man who ever lived. He had two or three pro fights I believe. But if we only consider full-time accomplished professionals and elite fighters, I'd say George Foreman stands out as the strongest. Lewis, Holyfield, Norton, Bruno always showed considerable strength too, but Foreman looked stronger than any of them.
Yeah, if you count Paul Anderson, it has to be him. He squatted 1206 pounds and did 6270 pounds in the backlift. Otherwise, Foreman and Jeffries come to mind
