Over the course of a career.

Got to be Pep, I'm imagining.

    Griffith?

Len Wickwar had fought almost 4000 rounds going by boxrec. Johnny Dundee, Jack Britton and Billy Bird followed with 3200+, 3100+ and 3000+ respectively. Pep only had about 2000 or less.

I believe it was Griffith that had the most championship rounds.

    Rosenbloom had 3,500, didn't he?

Doesn't Reggie specialize in 6 or 8 round fight?

Strickland has fought less than 2000 rounds.

Whoever it is, they probably had a good chin and not much for a punch.

Long time living myth, repeated everywhere...

    1. Emille Griffith - 339
    2. Abe Attel - 337
    3. Hilario Zapata - 303
    4. Julio Cesar Chavez 301
    5. Sugar Ray Robinson - 288

They author of that list, obviously, never heard of Jack Britton, who fought about 50 championship rounds more than Griffith, over 390.
