Haugen Ramirez II Nelson Brazier Pineda Cardona Chavez McGirt I & II What happened to these men in these fights ????.... Pernell Whitaker happened to these men in those fights... & it was like a work of art in the sweet science, pure poetry !
The most skilled fighter, in my opinion, would be the one that had the most success with the least physical talent and the least will. Pernell Whitaker could be characterised as lacking in will because of his drug abuse, but he had obvious physical talent. Monzon may have lacked physical talent (though strong and big at the weight) but he had a cast-iron will. My answer would be Nicolino Loche. He was not physically talented nor especially willful or disciplined. He seemed to win his fights with pure skill. Though perhaps that does a disservice to his reflexes.
Yeah, Gomez was awesome..... Jofre was great in every aspect of the game as well: close and long range, jab, combinations, uppercut, left hook, body punching technique, good footwork, etc......
Samarat Payakarun? Was he not the Thai cab driver Fenech destroyed after having only eight pro fights?
