I was there when he was demolished in four by a novice Fenech, not the accomplshed Fenech who beat Zaragozza, Zarate, etc. If , as you claim , that he was the most skilled fighter you have ever seen, you are either certified blind or inclined to please easy, by the way congrats on your intelligent and colourful vocabulary, keep up the good work.

As I have already said, Payakaroon had hundreds of fights by then and was weight-drained and Fenech, a former Olympian who had already had some prosuccess, was hardly a 'novice'.

And I'm not 'easily pleased' at all, but as I say, evidently I'm more qualified to give a stylistic analysis on the Thai because I've seen more of him than you (presumably) have, his lateral movement and defensive reflexes were out of this World.
You called him a 'Thai cab driver' in the first place, which is an incorrect statement. All I can be pulled up on is having an odd opinion, you were just flat out wrong.

I do envy you being at that fight though. Must be some memory. What a shame you didn't know quite what you were witnessing.

 

As a publican your language does not offend, your off the wall regard for Samart is completely at odds with what I witnessed, rearding Fenech, his career largely to that point was in small licensed clubs in front of perhaps 200, he did not attract much attention until he fought Shingaki, his olympic career ended in box off for bronze, he was sponsered by the local pub, I followed Fenech around the world and saw 20 of his fights, what degree of decline Payakarun was in whwn he fought Jeff, I do no know, but he was terible, hardly the most skilled fighter ever.
