    i regret to inform the boxing fraternity that forgewood ABC trainer and heart of the club Archie Mckay sadly passed away due to a short illness, archie was a local legend, gentleman and father figure to many over his long years at forgewood boxing club.

    I was lucky enough to know the big man, a true gent who shot from the hip and spoke the truth, no bull**** from him, sad day for the Forgewood lads and scottish boxing. Rest in peace big fella.
