I fancy going to watch the brook Hatton fight in march, and it would be my first live fight.

Just wondering if anyone has been to the venue before and how good / bad the view is??

ie: are the cheap tickets worth buying or is it like watching 2 matchsticks??

    Cheers for the help...

iv never seen a fight there, only ever seen oasis there, so cant really say what its like in the cheaper seats, but i imagine its a little like echo arena and iv been in the cheap seats there and it was fine. Saying that iv got the 40 quid tickets.

the main problem with the motorpoint arena is the location, if your wanting a drink, you will have to drink in the city centre and get the tram to motorpoint cos there is only two pubs around the arena and they are both dives.

i too have only been there for gigs (oasis too ha) but its a lot like the echo or nottingham arena which have decent views from anywhere, if your going for 40 i'd say youu'd defo be fine most the £30 ones will be ok too

as above its a bit of hassle getting away from after too if your going back into city centre as those trams get crammed!!

Go and drink in superbowl. That pub smack across does look like a **** hole though.

Both pubs aren't great but there are good places to eat at the centertainment complex and you'll always get a pint in the hollywood bowl.

you got noose and gibbet which was the pub i drank in when i was 15 and if you go in now you will notice the amount of 15 year olds drinking. then there is carbrook hall which is the other side of the centertainment, centertainment has Nandos, hollywood bowl, an all you can eat chinese, and a few others.

Im a sheffield united fan and we are at home that day so i will be leaving the game at 5 and have a few around town before getting tram to centertainment.

Best place is probably the Carbrook Hall, about a 5min walk away. Nice beer garden, weather should have warmed up by then.

The Noose and Giblet in looks quite decent to me, you can't beat a good shithole pub.
