    2010 vacant WBA middleweight title. Purse bid bought by Top Rank for bout between GGG and Mundine. Mundine refused to take the fight.

    Not hating on Mundine for the sake of it, have no reason to but Golovkin would of ended that fight in stunning fashion. His timing, balance and ring generalship are impeccable. Allied with his obvious power, doesn't end well for Mundine.

    wow i think the hype around this bloke is ridiculous . yes hes good but to say ward should duck him come of it . ward has beaten froch , kesler , dawson , bika and the list goes on ward dont need to duck this bloke and if they meet mark my words ward beats him comfortably . ggg best win was over macklin who has come up short in 2 world title shots against sturm who not long after lost to both geale and soliman so was probably on the slide already and martinez is nearing 40 and we all seen his last effort against murry , he is definately on the slide too . yes i was still very impressed with ggg the other day but do i think he can move up and beat ward , not at all .

    ward beats this man without a doubt, to big, strong and better ring iq, but to be fair to GGG i think that he could do the same to all the opposition that that ward has faced and likely beat each one of them even worse then ward did (froch definetely being the hardest fight for GGG) but still cannot see GGG picking up the win against ward.

    we need a new unified champ first before looking for this guy to move up, he just has to knock off each title by the end of 2014 (which is possible as long as the other champions dont hide behind the promotor) then we would have a superfight on our hands (given that ward also secures some half decent fights)

    no need to rush things just yet

    right now we talking about MD not supermiddle weight-
    Ward chin has never been tested- i have a feeling it would crack once it does- the problem is that the SMW and the LHW dont have any talents.
    Kessler is getting old, froch only fights one way. BUT GGG has a chance.

    However in saying that, mundine made a good move not to fight GGG.

    I remember him saying he was willing to come to Australia and let Mundine's family be the judges because it wouldn't matter lol. Mundine said he had bigger fish to fry and went on to fight Ryan Waters and Garth Wood.

    GGG would've destroyed Mundine inside of 3 rounds. Now Mundine is looking for a retirement package with Shane Mosley? Mosley still sparks Mundine at age 42!

    GGG = Mundine is Going...Going...Gone
