    Fresh off the press- Mundine is out indefinitely due to tearing the bicep muscle off the bone. Had an op this week. Said was done late in the fight.

    :-D Now for the sh*t stirring- Another poor excuse to avoid his mandatory against Kessler I guess?! Watch when he comes back;

    - "I am the greatest but need 2 or 3 fights before I fight anyone that is even close to my weight or ranked in the top 100"....

    - "I beat up a taxi driver with 1 1/2 arms"

    - "I'll fight anyone, anywhere when I return... after I rip off the public a bit more fighting a couple of bums"

    he may have hurt his arm but i doubt he ripped the muscle off the bone - if that were the case he wouldnt be able to move his arm at all

    either way its a legitimate excuse and would have hurt like ****

    Hmm. He was calling Calzaghe out after the fight, and only asked for 3 months notice. Noone thought it was a major injury.

    How is this good news for anyone?

    Show's the haters from the critics who can actually back it up with reason.

    Hope it doesn't keep him away. It is a sign of atleast one more fking tune up though...ffs.

    i know there is alot boxing to watch and i will be watching it, but in the SMW division he is a genuine chance of being champ thats why if it's true i think it will be a bit dissapointing

    he is young and in great shape so recovery probably wont be too long - the footy guys who get the same injury only stay out for 4-5 weeks :D

    he will be back beating up bus drivers by sep/oct

    haha, well if thats the case thats good. i think when he takes on a top ten fighter in the next fight which i thnk he will, that fighter will then automatically be a bus driver. just because mundine beat him..

    well how long was Andrew Symmonds out from cricket. i remember he tore his bicep off the bone also in i think it was late January against the Poms and made a come back late in the World Cup Tournement.

    im pretty sure if i can remember correctly it took him from late Jan to late March. so 8 weeks but then again some people heel different than others.

    so i would say 3 months to be sure before he probably even enters a sparring session.
