Yeah at least 3 months if it's as serious as mentioned in previous posts...........doesn't matter anyway, Calzaghe and Kessler fight in Nov 07, so the winner or loser can't fight Mundine until March 08 i would think.
Disappointing for the haters as well I would have thought as they are generally the first to Mundine fights to see him KO'd. Injurys like this can't be good for a guy who relies on speed. He should take an easy comeback warmup fight I would say against Danny Green.

Mundine needs time before his next opening presents itself so this is a great reason not to fight anybody until a good percentage fight comes his way.
Agree. Dorian Yates did the same injury and went on to win Mr Olympia about 3 months (I think) later. But if Calzaghe and Kessler are fighting in November, then I guess that gives Mundine an excuse to fight another taxi driver if he fights again this year.
So I guess we can expect mundine to be another holyfield, hopkins fighting into his forties! These openings don't come around often so he needs to really get out and chase the big ones. Mundine will win a real title! But please do it in my life time.
