Murray will get bigger fights now, Micks gonna have to take his finger out of his arse and stump some cash up or else all his good fighters will leave him. If he lost Froch, Murray, Barker and Fury (good in terms of promotional, not talent) whos he got left?
What has happened to the Lee McAllister fight for Mezaache? Anyway this is a good step up for Murray and a great chance to win a very good belt and to test himself against a very decent opponent. He can pull off the win on home ground but I think he will need the full distance.
I think the board should set up a couple of eliminators with Limond included. Shame a fighter is frozen out, especially of his class.
Murray should go on and win this fight. I think it also allows the british title to have some good fights. It's a positive move for all involved at lightweight...well maybe not for Mezaache.
Gary Buckland has already won an eliminator and so has John Watson, so i guess those two will fight for the vacant belt. should try and get your boy dibs on the winner.
Brillant. Murray should catch up with him and lay it on him hard and heavy. Great to hear this. This fight should be made. I like it when this happens. Murray has my respect for going the traditional route and leaving no questions as he goes along.
