He already got a draw there in a fight that most viewers saw as a close loss. They have the name, but in reality it's not harder over there as it is in the US, the UK or Argentina against a local.
I actually see this as a great fight. I can see Murrray controlling the first 2 minutes of the early rounds with a high guard and out working Abraham who will only work for the last 30 seconds. Once it goes past half way and Abraham knows he needs to win some rounds it will really open up and although it's big odds, I would be at all surprised if Murray gets a KO. This version of Abraham is lazier than an already lazy fighter.
You are spot on with first part :good But i still think Abrahams chin is pretty stout, and although martins shown to be a little more heavier handed since moving up, he's hardly a KO specialist. Maybe Martin could force the TKO, but its in Germany, and Abraham has already gotten looked after in fights.
Murray is hardly a KO artist, plus against a guy who even froch cannot KO. Yes abraham is older and clocked up more mileage since the froch fight but no way murray can stop abraham, it would be abraham more likely to stop murray. Both will hold high guards, all abraham have to do is work 30-60 secs of the round to win.
Froch wasn't trying to knock out Abraham though. Murray could get a lot of success from working the body given Smith was able to land quite freely and Smith isn't in the top 20 super middleweights in Europe. I basically see this as being a much better fight than people are suggesting
^^ U think murray will look for KO against abraham? No chance of that happening, he will cover up as much as abraham and wants to nick the rounds. Murray has been campaigning as a mw throughtout his career, abeit a big mw, his power isnt going to trouble AA unless he get a clean shot. Goodluck to MM, but the smart money is on AA.
Smart money is on AA, but that has more to do with the predictable result than the actual content of the fight. AA won't outbox Murray, and he won't stop him either, what he will do is cover up for 2,1/2 minutes of every round, then start trying to unload before the bell. I'm convinced Murray will outbox him, but barring a stoppage, AA will get the nod at the end.

Of course. He fought Golovkin when most of the division avoided GGG like the plague. Fought Martinez in Buenos Aires. Fought Sturm in Germany And would of been part of numerous other big fights in the States, were it not for his Visa issues. I think Murray deserves a bit of praise for his work ethic.
Totally agree with this. Murray needs to be on his skates and capitalise in the last minute of every round. This seems to be when AA comes alive
