I have my reservations about khan fighting paul. It seems meaningless to me and utterly pointless. However I would quite like to see khan vs murray. So my question to you is how would the two fare against each other? At 140, murray vs mccloskey, who takes it? My money would be on murray but admittedly I only really followed mccloskey since he took the british belt so I don't really have an overly informed opinion. Obviously being a local lad I know a lot about murray but not as much about paul. So who takes it at 140?
From what i've seen mccloskey can't pose khan many problems, but then again i've seen murray have a few dodgey performances
This would be an awesome fight and would be way more exciting than Khan/McCloskey (which is a mismatch imo) Their styles are completely opposite and it would be interesting to see if Dudey would handle Murray's pressure. I think he would adjust to him and take hold of the fight in the latter stages to win a close decision. McCloskey 116-112.
i say why dont they make this fight for april 16th on khan undercard, might start to consider buying it then!! lol
Would be a good scrap and I like the undercard idea! My preference is still to see khan vs prescot. This would be a great undercard bout. It's just a crackting division right now!
fairly similar level of talent would be bull v matador type fight 50/50 fight dont know which style would prevail but ill go with mccloskey as hes irish :lama
I still see mcloskey as untested. Thaxton and buckland are better than any name on paul's resume imo.
Yeah, wins over a washed up Thaxton and a blown up super-featherweight really puts him in the frame! :rofl:rofl
Thaxton was shot to **** by the time that fight happened. He was at his best during his ''2nd career'' around the time he won the British title, the Romanov fight took everything he had. Winning the European against some glass jawed Spaniard doesn't change that. The Thaxton that gave Hatton a hard night would possibly beat Murray.
Does it fuk put him in the frame, the only thing putting him in the frame is the fight being held in manchester.
