Weather history will say father time caught up with him or haters saying he carried a padded record, the fact remains he revolutionized the sport and will always be remembered as a fierce competitor with a heart of a lion. Love him or hate him, we all owe a massive amount of respect to this man and as a United States Marine, I salute you Fedor Emelianenko and wish you the absolute best in your retirement. Come on guy, I grew up watching him. He is an inspiration for all mixed martial artists and met him when he came and saw us marines in Las Vegas. Classy guy and a true gentleman. I've been a marine for 7 years and attended a seminar and got the honor to roll with him, history techniques are amazing.
