You guys have no idea of how great a trainer he really is. He learned from the great Arturo "Cullo" Hernandez. Who taught that "Mexico City" stance that you saw in Lopez, JMM and Zaragosa.

He is one of the rare trainers that "teaches" boxing, like an art form. He walks his fighters step by step into the proper techniques.

He will be missed when he's gone.

I am a huge Nacho fan, I used to think Roach was the future but Nacho seems to just get better with time. While Freddie God bless him seems to be deteriorating.

Very technical. Even when guiding JMM in throwing his punches, everything has to be textbook. JMM has been throwing punches for 30 years and there is Nacho telling him "throw an uppercut but keep your shoulders level". I can't see roach looking into that much detail where everything has to be in such perfect form. Different styles.

Obviously knows what he's doing. IMO he's a bit like a Mayweather, if they get the kid from a young age and ingrain their style on them, the kid if they have the talent will develop into something very special. I don't think he's a very good "hired gun" though, guys like Emannuel Steward or Roach due to their styles not being that meticulous are better and can adapt to different styles more.

Great trainer. Very strict and expects nothing but discipline. His style does have certain flaws, but even with those weaknesses, his technique is incredibly solid. Very well rounded style with great use of both hands.
He doesn't seem to give a rats ass for fame or popularity. At least not outside the boxing community. He knows well enough where he stands within his circle.
