hope u r right whilst u r on here would like to find out why u r fightin a guy that is 9 years older than u has nt fought for over a year and is totally shot warren promised us that u were steppin up in class when he announced the date for all these fights and part of the reason i shelled out for 7 tickets was to see you in a decent match up only for it to be announced that this step up is young mutley. surely u hoped for better than this after all the messin around with your last opponent when can we expect to see you fight a live opponent
This could be the reason he puts Bellew in there with Clev this weekend. Sacrifice the unbeaten guy who doesn't seem like he will reach the world level to raise the profile of his other guy and save the PPV :yep
Credit it to Tony if this happens. A lot of fighters talk the talk in this sort of situation, Bellew is walking the walk.
I have no doubt Tony believes he will win. But is team should no better. Hopefully he gives a good account of himself and it doesn't effect his career.
Add me to the list of people not really feeling it as much. The idea is nice, but the reality is it's someone who's been training for a world title fight vs someone on 3 days notice who is going to be more interested in getting weight off. Not taking anything from Bellew - boxing would be a better sport if all fighters had his mentality, and if he gives a good account of himself then someone can quote this after and I'll gladly hold my hands up - but I can only see it being very one sided.
It takes some doing finding a downside to Bellews actions but I see ESB has come up trumps again!!:good
