"Exposed" is a bit harsh, Hamed sort of made it a slightly competitive fight against Barrera. But he would have lost to the fab 4 (Pac, JMM, MAB, EM) at 126.
hamed is 1 of my favs but to say he was a fraud is stupid. he just seemed to be a beaten man vs mab and couldnt dig deep to turn the fight around. an yes i do remember him callin for those fights on hbo but never gettin them. just like rjj an ali, get use to god givin talent keepin u winnin until it turns on u.

No and I thought Barrera was gonna outbox him. I agree though he was entertaining and great for the sport.
That's pretty much my view on Hamed as well, all hype, very little substance. His whole act was VERY annoying, it degraded the sport. I was very pleased when Barrera exposed him.
One camp thinks he would get exposed, the other camp thinks he's past his peak. I personally think it's no coincedence that an Ingle-less Naz would just be going for the one big punch, rather than taking his time like he did before. Shame, he was a waste of talent, but his freakish punching power and great chin (hit flush by decent punchers, decked, but never hurt) means he can't be a fraud. Only my opinion.
He wasn't really a waste of talent. To me it seems that it was his unorthodox stance that somehow contributed to his punching power. And yes, he can't be a fraud , at least because we are talking about him now
Naz was one of the greatest fighter I have ever seen. Naz was very past his best when he fought Barerra. I think a young very focus Naz would give Barerra a good fight.
i'm not the slightest bit a hamed fan. i hate the guy, and have bashed him a bit on here. but a guy who unifies a division is'nt a fraud.
exciting fighter indeed, annoying to some tho. Even at his peak, i cant see him beating Barrera. Barrera was a master boxer very much different from previous opponents he had. He was not a sucker to those feints and fakes that worked on those bums plus he was hitting Hamed at will. It would have been different if he regrouped and fought MAB for in a rematch. There were excuses that he was overconfident and a rematch would have proven my point.
yet another fighter dismissed as a ducking fraud. i wonder if these people know anything about boxing. to the original poster, hamed was a unique, exciting, hard hitting showman who got on everyones nerves due to his arrogance. he came up short against one of the best of the era, no great crime and then faded into oblivion like geniuses sometimes do.
who was the american black guy he said in the pre fight interveiw why dont we put are fight purse on the line and the winner gets all? wasnt kelly ? dude just said u can put yours up if you want lol
