Joe Gallagher is a pee taker, he's accused Hearn/Sky of being racist, slaughtered Hearn for not giving Jonas fights and decent paydays.. Hearn then delivers Taylor, a good payday and it was a great fight, very entertaining.. and it should have all been plain sailing from there, more good fights and good paydays.. And then Joe G wants to start picking overmatched opponents for Jonas for the same good money and it just isn't acceptable. I get the impression Gallagher seems to upset everybody he works with, sure he wants the best for his fighters and I appreciate that but surely he should have learnt to play the game by now? In my opinion he is costing his fighters opportunities and money because of his ego and stubbornness.
I mean there’s a comeback fight then there’s fighting a pointless fight. If you want a 1-10 fight then go on small hall shows. Jonas seems to forget Hearn is asking people to pay for DAZN and would get killed for sticking that on there. she apparently was offered Buatsi, Farias amd Abellaneda who are all essentially point victories by every round for Jonas. Which is a good comeback fight if she is rematching Katie next. She was also on good money and wanted the same money to fight Nana Dokadze at 1-10 who has been knocked out in 8 of those fights. Jonas is mental really for arguing in some ways as her biggest paydays available are Taylor, Harper and Cameron all of which are with Hearn.
Only have to look how Callum Johnson’s career has gone. Kept digging his heels over the buatsi fight in the same way wanting a tick over first. Then wanted the same money as buatsi and couldn’t agree to an opponent for a tickover. Now fighting bin men and gaining zero buzz. Should have fought Boesel for the European then buatsi and taken the gamble. Rather than hope to fight Yarde or Arthur winner for 70% of the money the buatsi fight offered
Jonas got traction with SKY after fights she either drew or lost She began to appear to be a tick box exercise for them when she then started hosting/commentating on shows Not sure why she'd give up that sweet relationship but im sure more will come out

"Comeback fight" is a ridiculous concept anyways for a 37-year old who fought 5 months ago. She doesn't need "comebacks" or "warm ups", she just needs...you know...proper fights.
