this could be a hell of a fight both fighters have a lot to lose.
Guzman finally has his chance to shine if he loses he probably doesnt get another one. and Campbell cant aford to lose cause at his age he might not get another shot at a title.

if Guzman feels comfortable at 135 and doesnt lose any of his speed i think he wins a close decision in a very good fight with Campbell not far behind.

who do you guys pick in this one

I would like Guzman to win, as well as JMM to beat Casa. Then the 2 of them should fight each other to determine who deserves a shot at Pac.

Why does Guzman have to beat JMM to prove he deserves a shot at Pac? He beat Soto and Barrios at 130 and was ignored by Pac. If he beats Campbell, he'll own 3 of the 4 belts at LW. That's more than enough to deserve a shot at Pac.

Exactly, If Guzman defeats Campbell, then he will become the man to beat at 135 and probably Pac would have to fight the winner of JMM-Casa to get a shot at Guzman. :yep I prefer to see (if Guzman wins) Guzman vs Pac after.

I think the fight between Campbell and Guzman is going to be a very close one, I think Guzman might win it by a close UD.

I'm praying for a Campbell victory but Guzman will most likely win.

Considering Pac avoided Guzman, lost to JMM twice, and has only beaten David ****ing Diaz at lightweight, I would say if Guzman beats Campbell, which I expect him to do, and JMM beats Casa, which I expect him to do, then Pac would have to prove he deserves a shot at either of those 2.

    Good question.

I hate to talk about it because I don't care about money . . . but team Pac especifically Arum is trying to increase Pac's stature and market value and Pac can't afford to lose . . . so that fight wasn't made.

But now that they are at 135 . . . there's no more reason why this fight wouldn't happen. Pac will have to fight the winner of Campbell/Guzman and/or the winner of Casa/JMM eventually.

He deserves a shot anyway just for being one of the best fighters around the weight class. He may not beat Campbell, Campbell is an excellent fighter and Guzman's prime was wasted being avoided at 122-126.

i expect guzman to convincingly beat campbell on this one. if he KO's campbell i would not be surprised at all. with all the dehydrating guzman made at 130, he could be stronger than ever at this weight.

i am for a pac-guzman fight or a guzman-jmm fight if guzman and marquez both have a dominating win.

:patschis it not the other way around? jmm and guz are the one's chasing pac that is why they are now at the lw division. jmm and guz should prove that they deserve to fight pac.
