What exactly is the evidence for him being so smart, in the ring?

That Murat **** holds his left to low to beat him though, I hope.

  2. He has a maths degree. Bet you didn't know that.

2:2 is better than anything I could ever get with Maths so let's not diss his academia...:yep

He has done very well do far, but when he meets Tony Bellew he will get Iced...:deal

    McGrains pissed already

Clevs defence is too porous. Murat might be avtad on the short side, but can get in range well and test Clevs chin at this level. I think Cleverly will come through a tough battle, with Murat blocking a lot of his offence down the stretch, to win a close points verdict after a good start. I doubt he'll look sensational though, this is a big step up and he'll need variety in his offence, Murat is well-schooled.

I think it's pathetic the way, they have banged on about him getting a maths degree.

I don't even like Tony Bellew, but i hope he smashes Nathan Cleverly up.

    None really.

Personally, I think he is just a tall pressure fighter/swarmer in the mould of Calzaghe where he moves around a bit and steps in with 4's and 5's of quick punches onto the target with no real precise hard digs getting in. This leads him to being sloppy IMO

I also think he needs to think less about workrate and more about tightening up his technique as his workrate means he relaxes and lets the punches flow but this causes his defence to be relaxed. If he tightened up his punches would have more pop and judging by his wiry frame and previous results he can become a very good puncher. Also this would mean his defence would not suffer due to the sloppy punching form as his hands should come back high. Instead of making him the next Joe Calzaghe, I think he should be a bit more of a stand up boxer-puncher like Enzo Maccarenelli (roughly at least.)

He does make up for the porous defence with an immense workrate and a solid beard, the fact he is physically strong and he can occasionally generate power helps his cause much more. But he needs to develop a jab and a 1-2 to be very successful.

Murat is a 'clone of Abraham' according to some German media sources. I tend to think he is a bit more of a sharp shooter. As he uses the high guard and a jab to get into mid range and instead of mad hard flurries he uses more precise shots. I think he can take advantage of Clev's leaky defence with these sharp shots but chances are he will get overwhelmed and frustrated.

In his last fight Murat got mad when he couldn't finish Karpency and his game went to **** when he could not finish him and he lost it mentally really. I think if Clev frustrates him with that workrate he can take his heart and mind off the fight and stop him late.

I hope for his sake that he's got a good chin, because his defence is absolutely gash.

Not everyone can be a Mayweather or Whitaker, but **** me he makes Hatton seem exceptional.

So you could do better? Maths is hard ****. Whats wrong with a 2:2, a degree is a degree. I got a 2:2 in law. Its better than no degree. Even a 3rd in maths is still better than fail

  15.

He does get caught very easily, can get drawn in as well and doesn't really stick to a gameplan. That's worked against the oppositions he's had so far but as he steps up it's going to be a big problem. If he wins tonight and fights Braehmer he'll get stopped in that fight if he starts trading.
