    Hi guys,
need some help in finding Australia's most successful Am. Boxer, Tony Madigan. For those unfamiliar with his worth, he represented Aust. at 3 Olympics.. 52, 56 & 60. Best remembered for standing on the podium next to Cassius Clay. Also boxed at 3 Commonwealth Games for 2 Gold and 1 Silver.

He's believed to be living in London............. or Italy.... or Germany... or France...

    Any help is appreciated.

I can offer no help, but I did see Tony Madigan lose a CLOSE decision to Cassius Clay in the finals at MSG in 1960 before Clay turned pro.
I often wondered what became of Tony Madigan as he would have made a good pro lLight Heavy....

Burt, he was far too clever to box Pro. He become a millionaire business man and lived in such places as Monte Carlo. The boxing scene in Australia has lost track of Madigan and we are hoping to find him again. I'm sure we'll locate him in the next two days.
