Whatever his height he looks like he is still going to put on weight as he matures. I know he was 153 and a half at weigh in, did they give weights of him and Trout at fight time?

Yeah, he looks way shorter. Maybe the dude hunches a lot because during face-offs he comes off as taller, or those face-offs have him wearing his shoes or something.

Boxrec used to have him as 5'9 for years but just now they changed it. Canelo is in fact 5'7

Trout had 2-3 solid inches on him.

I always though 5' 8'' because of his built he looks short but I think he's 5' 8''

well i tried to tell Doc last year that Canelo was only 5'7" and he went about calling me "****ing douche," "****ing ******," "Agenda ridden hater," "GTFO," "douche ******," "canelo **** one of your sisters," "****ing hater," "pendejo," 'idiot," "****ing ******ed," "go kick rocks Child," "**** off," and then finally culminating with Doc putting me on his "ignore list" over the two inches.

but the real question now is if Doc is going to put Showtime and Boxrec.com on his "ignore list" as well now that they have both listed Canelo at 5'7.5".

That's why he will most likely never fight at SMW he is short he isn't even really tall for 154 and he will be one of the shorter fighters at MW I doubt he will go up to SMW

Not really, as most light heavyweights are reall 185+ on fight night.

Both in footwear, both face to face, doesn't look noticably shroter than Mosley, if he is, it's half an inch

    He's definitely not 5'7, he's 5'8-9, he's always looked about 5'9

Golovkin is supposed to be 5'10, looks to be slouched here though

^^^ Here is Cotto vs. Shane Mosley

This height business is ****ing confusing. I think Cotto is listed at 5' 7", but if Canelo is 5' 7", then Cotto might just be 5' 6". I would think they would've been measured by doctors or some professionals, not just make up heights. In the other forum, someone also mentioned Glovokin might only be 5' 9". Damn, this Canelo business has really ****ed up the height listings .

Yeah, I don't think so either, but fighters like Glovokin and Martinez are right up his alley. They both look to be about the same size as Canelo. Canelo would probably find success at MW, but I don't think he'll fare too well against the giants in SMW; he might be too short for them.
