No offence to Steve, but the definitive tome on Sam has already been written.

A lot more research is required on Langford.

There is definately more to be uncovered concerning Langford's life and career. I did the best I could at the time but wasn't able to find as much as I would have liked in some areas. Hopefully others will continue to research him and more will be revealed. As many books have been written about the likes of Jack Johnson, Dempsey and others over the years I think there is plenty of room for multiple works on a great fighter like Langford and I'll look forward to learning about any new information that is discovered.

Are you more interested in a studiously researched book about Langford, (like an annotated Wikipedia) or a page-turner that seamlessly includes the material in a great story?

The latter of course but I welcome any new Langford information regardless of the format.
