It’s getting crazy with all of these side show fights. I mean I’m all for people making money and respect anyone who gets into a ring or cage. But the current state of boxing is not that good. It’s sad big fights get made too late, or people like Ryan Garcia get taken seriously. The Jake Paul stuff and other YouTuber things. Boxing the sport we love is being turned into a farce and more about greed than greatness.
I wouldn't really have a problem with this tbh, it's an intriguing sideshow fight. Dereck isnt totally washed yet, he will KO Ngannou. I would have expected someone like Molina for his first match.
Tyson Fury Vs AJ, Usyk, Wilder, Chisora and Nngangou one after the other might be a fair fight. It's Fury's trump card, the only way to earn respect off even the biggest hater is to do the impossible and so he will do it.
Yeah. Don't really see the issue here. Especially if it's in support of titanic matchups like Fury/Usyk and Joshua/Wilder. It was obvious that Ngannou was going to fight someone like Chisora or Whyte from the getgo anyways.
Why do you want to "give up" with this sport? It's an undercard match of one of the most epic co-mains in the history of boxing cards, Who gives a ****? They could have Jake Paul and KS1 fighting midgets on it, and it'll still be well worth the 79 dollar PPV fee. Also, any time MMA takes an L to Boxing, I'm a happy camper.
I was thinking the same it will be hilarious seeing the casual MMA fans react when one of their top guys takes an L to a washed Chisora. Some of them probably think Nngangou could beat Fury.
I also don’t see an issue with this, good for Chisora…he’s made his mark in boxing, what do people expect from him in this stage of his career exactly? World title fights?
