Which boxing "good guys" had bad, bad intentions in the ring?

Basically, we're not talking about Mike Tyson or Roberto Duran, who were borderline psychos in and out of the ring.

I heard it said in general recently that Leonard threw some shots at Hearn's in their first fight that would have taken his head off if they connected.

Tommy Hearns has to be up there. From everything I've read, he's a very decent guy, but man did he go after his opponents in the ring.

dempsey often amazed people with his great heart, giving huge amounts of money to broken down fighters.he was a real gentlemen out of the ring, but in the ring it seemed as thou he wanted to murder you, untill the bell rang then he would often help his defeated opp. to his feet

Arguello tho it was usually a clinical drawn out dissection.

Marciano always seemed like a humble guy but in the ring he destroyed opponents and fought very dirty sometimes.

Joe Frazier, and I guess the same could be said for Larry Holmes. While He had a huge chip on his shoulder, he was a decent guy who really tried to kill his opponents in the ring.

Joe Louis was all smiles and aple pie outside the ring but when the bell rang he turned into a cold blooded psychopath.

Good calls on Louis and Arguello, Ezzard Charles comes to mind, moreso for being a nice guy out of the ring than being mean in it,

The young Tyson that won the title from Berbick and smoked Spinks and the others might fit the bill.

At the time, he seemed a genuinely nice guy outside of the ring, except for calling out guys that clinched/spoiled against him.

People have told me that Terry Norris is a very nice guy in person.

In the ring, he wanted to kill you.

Shane Mosley is supposed to be really nice also. He tends to fight like he wants to break his opponent into pieces and step on them.
