    BT offered him a better deal ie main man on footy commentary which he seems to have lost

    Yep, him and Mccory was boss, especially on the big american fights etc

    if you want to hear bad listen to the NBC commentary off Porter V Broner.

    terrible all round.

    Anyone else think Dempsey always appeared over-serious?

    No more so than Adam Smith. Plus Dempsey doesn't speak the entire time like he's doing a voice-over advert for a film. No way Smith speaks like that when the cameras are off, and if he does he has serious problems.

    Yeah, true.

    I like Darke the best, although when Hamed stopped Robinson he said "no, that was just a slip!" - it was a clear left hook on the temple of Robinson and that made Darke look quite bad

    Dempsey is a touch serious but he is one of the best in the business- I hope Channel 5/Spike keep using him in the future.
