While talking about yes men, it's surly common consensus that this guy is by far the worst, and seems to be getting worse the Joshua fights make for some seriously cringe worthy listing...... Besides Ian Drake any ideas on potential replacements ? I don't mind the guy from channel 5, i think its Dave Farrar, give me him Al Bernstein and Richie Woodhall over Nick and Jim anyday of the week. :deal

He knows absolutely nothing about boxing. I am surprised that there aren't more people who agree with this. He has rode his luck for years.

Some of the stuff he comes out with is embarrassing. What must the likes of Paulie think sat next to him commentating.

He is an embarrassment to British Boxing

The worst commentator I've heard do boxing in this country. Even worse than Jim Neilly, and that's saying something.

Whenever I see Richie Woodhall I like his style, also a lovely guy by all means.

Couldnt agree more. He is awful and cannot call a match properly. Like when Barker got dropped by Geale with a body shot and Halling started going on about how it was a low blow etc. Knob.

Don't mind Richie Woodhall but he can also be a bit bias - Jazza Dickens v Kid Galahad is a good example.

100% agree, C5 can get Al over but Sky seem to stick with the same old. I like Woodhall and Farrar aswell.

Halling is rivalling adam smith in terms of poorness which is really the worst insult i can give him. Jim neily was absolutely horrid as a commentator as well. Ian darke is like a platinum diamond. Any other uk commentators are a laughing stock. Im sure paulie had a great laugh with the showtime crew when he got back to america. Between the creepiness of adam smith and the absolute travesty that is nick hallings commentary, id say there were plenty of chuckles amongst the showtime lads.
